Speaker Connection

Speaker Connection for low-noise system control

The interface between amplifier and loudspeaker is one of the most demanding points in an audio system. It carries high current, reacts to loudspeaker behaviour and can provide a path for unwanted vibration, EMI and RFI to return towards sensitive electronics.

Quiescent speaker connection products are designed to reduce those effects while preserving the amplifier’s control of the loudspeaker. The result is not a change of character, but a quieter, more stable connection that allows the system to reveal more of what is already present in the recording.

A system approach

The Speaker Connection System combines specialist speaker cables with Quiescent speaker modules. Together, they address the electrical and mechanical behaviour of the amplifier/loudspeaker interface: conductor vibration, radio-frequency energy, electromagnetic interference and the noise paths created by the cable itself.

The range can be approached through Peak Speaker Modules, Peak Speaker Cables and Apex Speaker Cables, depending on how completely the speaker interface is being treated.

Build the Quiescent system

Speaker connection is one part of a wider Quiescent approach to system noise control. Power, interconnects, component grounding and T-Series electronics each influence the noise floor, stability and sense of ease in a revealing audio system.
