This policy explains how Quiescent Ltd uses cookies, browser storage and related technologies on quiescent.co.uk. It applies to visitors to our website.

What these technologies do

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local and session storage also allow a website to remember information on your device. Scripts can provide website features or communicate with service providers, even when they do not store a cookie.

Essential website functions

We use technologies needed to operate and protect the website, prevent spam and remember privacy choices. Our website runs on WordPress and uses WooCommerce to organise its product catalogue. We do not offer online purchases or customer accounts.

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated submissions. This involves processing technical browser and device information. Further details are available in the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Policy.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and use of the website, helping us improve its content and navigation. Analytics can process information such as pages viewed, referring websites, browser and device details, and pseudonymous browser and session identifiers.

We do not intentionally send names, email addresses or the contents of contact messages to Google Analytics. We do not use this setup for personalised advertising or remarketing.

The GA4 cookies _ga and _ga_* distinguish browsers and maintain session information. Their default expiry is two years and may be renewed during subsequent visits. Cookie expiry is separate from the retention period for data held in Google Analytics.

Fonts and external services

We use Adobe Fonts to display website typography. Your browser requests font resources from Adobe’s Typekit domains, which means Adobe receives technical information, including the IP address needed to deliver those resources.

Adobe states that it does not set cookies to serve website fonts and does not store the IP address received for font delivery. See the Adobe Fonts Privacy Policy.

The list below provides names, purposes and expiry information for the entries recorded in our consent-management system. Some entries describe service requests rather than files stored on your device. A service’s appearance in this list does not mean that you have consented to it.
