The DATA range of digital interconnect cables easily outperform many cables that are many times the cost. With the application of wide-band multi-phase absorption, this outstanding cable gives some insight into the capabilities of the Apex digital interconnects for a more modest budget.
Using central conductors made from OCC copper, the cables have been designed and manufactured to maintain a matched impedance so critical for lossless digital signal transfer. A fine wire mesh screen is tightly wound around the signal insulation with a further low dielectric insulator, and this is then threaded through our unique proprietary EMI/RFI tube that absorbs and dissipates non desirable high-frequency energy that would otherwise modulate with the digital music signal. The cable is finally shrouded in our ABS woven cable sheathing to prevent vibration cascading through the conductors.
Terminations have been hand-selected to ensure a fully matched impedance along the entire length of the cable from the digital source to DAC.
